About me

Where care and presence come first

I graduated as a nurse from VIA University College in Aarhus in 2016. I have broad clinical experience from internal medicine at the hospital, home care, and health research.
My core interest, however, lies in the interplay between healthcare and pedagogy — something I truly discovered while working in a nursery and kindergarten. I greatly enjoyed my time with the little ones: bottle-feeding, putting them down for naps, singing and playing games, and doing sensory-motor activities.

Here, care, play, and learning go hand in hand, creating the foundation for healthy development. No matter the child’s age, I believe it is essential to meet them with warmth and presence — where they are seen, heard, and met at their level.

Safety, trust, and time for you

In my most recent job, I combined nursing with pedagogical care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Here, relationship-building was essential, and I advanced my pedagogical skills through close collaboration with educators.

I am also a mother of two wonderful girls, so I know firsthand how challenging life with small children can be. My dream is to support parents of young children by giving them the break they need, while at the same time providing their babies or children with safe and stimulating experiences.

That is why I founded Family Nanny.

The heart behind Family Nanny

Safety, calm, and presence: I am passionate about creating a safe and calm environment, where parents feel seen, heard, and confident entrusting me with their children.

More energy in your everyday life: I give parents valuable time for themselves, so they can recharge and be the best version of themselves for their children.
